-
At Family Christian Center (FCC), members are not required to sign a membership letter.
-
Members are required to declare their request to join FCC.
-
Personal affirmation of faith, participation, and Christian character will demonstrate that a parishioner is a member in good standing at FCC.
-
A consistent demonstration of Christian behavior is a prerequisite before members in good standing can join or be invited to join a ministry or auxiliary.
-
Every minister, church leader, independent contractor, or volunteer should affirm their agreement with the Articles of Faith and conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with them.
-
Parishioners (the congregation) shall affirm their agreement with the Articles of Faith and behave in a manner that is consistent with them.
-
There is room for differences of opinion in the fellowship. Perfect agreement on minute details of doctrine and practice is not required for membership. An open mind and an open heart, in the spirit of the Lord, are characteristics of Christ-like behavior.
-
A person removes themselves from membership in the Church of God when he or she is no longer committed to the teachings of the Lord our God and God’s Word, the Bible. A person removes himself or herself when their lifestyle becomes inconsistent with the teachings of the Pastor and the Church. The Pastor, Deacons, Deaconesses, or church leaders will pray for and counsel the person whose lifestyle is in question.
