Senior Pastor Tyrone Newman is a devoted servant of God, an anointed leader, and the visionary behind Family Christian Center (FCC). With decades of ministry experience, Pastor Newman has dedicated his life to spreading the Gospel and shepherding God’s people. His passion for teaching and discipleship is evident through his work in Sunday School, Bible Study, and pastoral care, where he ministers to the sick and shut-in with love and compassion.

More than three decades ago, Pastor Newman and First Lady Valerie Newman became active in the Prison Ministry and Marriage Ministry, demonstrating their deep commitment to strengthening lives and families through faith. Years later called by God to ministry, he and First Lady Valerie Newman embraced their divine assignment and established FCC (Family Christian Center) as a place where believers can grow in faith, serve others, and build God’s kingdom. With a crystal-clear mission - "Our mission is to evangelize, uplift, and support the family and community by teaching the Word of God."

In March 2025, FCC celebrates its 20-year anniversary,  marking two decades of dedicated service, community impact, and unwavering faith.

At FCC, Pastor Newman’s leadership is rooted in prayer, biblical teaching, and unwavering faith. His mission is clear: to teach God’s Word, uplift His (God’s) people, and lead the church in living out the principles of Christ.
